Meg’s Smile Foundation of Holly Springs is the beneficiary of a recent fundraiser by Massage Envy Spa Holly Springs located in the Holly Springs (Target) Towne Center. Massage Envy Spa raised $1685 to support Meg’s Smile Foundation in their efforts to provide “smiles,” or special days, to children affected by serious illnesses.
Jim Wasley, Founder of Meg’s Smile Foundation, says “We are so grateful to Richard Bell and his staff at Massage Envy Spa Holly Springs for allowing Meg’s Smile Foundation to be a part of the week long fundraiser which was held at the Holly Springs location. Thank you to everyone that visited and enjoyed a service. You all helped to continue giving children smiles here in North Carolina.”
Massage Envy Spa Holly Springs franchisee Richard Bell says, “It is important to give back to the community you live in, and what better organization to support than Meg’s Smile Foundation. We know that since they were founded in 2011 they have provided over 120 children with the joy of a smile. Hopefully our donation of $1685 will allow them to provide many more.”
Meg’s Smiles Foundation was founded by Jim and Terri Wasley in memory of their daughter Meg, who passed away from a brain tumor in January, 2011, at 8 years old. Jim and Terri were determined to keep Meg’s memory alive and tum their heartache into hope for other children and their families. With the creation of Meg’s Smiles Foundation, Jim and Terri are making a difference in children’s lives to children affected by serious illnesses.
